Frequently Asked Questions

Access

Q: How do I access the new product?

Your new product can be accessed at www.pharmamedtechbi.com or directly at scrip.pharmamedtechbi.com, pink.pharmamedtechbi.com, invivo.pharmamedtechbi.com, medtech.pharmedtechbi.com, rose.pharmamedtechbi.com. Links to old sites (such as scripintelligence.com, thepinksheet.com) will continue to work and redirect to the new sites.

Q: What are the network and browser requirements?

Internet Explorer 11+, Safari, Chrome, Firefox on Windows, Mac, and mobile devices and tablets are supported.

Q: If I am already accessing online, do I need to change anything?

No

Q: I don’t know my log in details. How do I get them?

Your username typically is your email address. Click on "Forgot password" and you will receive an email message enabling you to reset your password. If this doesn't work, or you don't remember you username, contact customer support.

Q: Will I still receive a print copy and where do I send address changes/updates?

All products have print editions (except Rose Sheet). Contact customer services for address updates.

Q: How will archives be accessed after the products are merged?

Via the new product site. All archive content will be included in the new publications sites, and will be available via site search or links to old articles.

Technicality

Q: Why are these products being integrated?

We are integrating these products in order to provide an enhanced value proposition to our clients, and to support investment in our product publishing platform (front end and back-office). By integrating products we are able to bring the full expertise of our global content team to bear on the new products, greatly enhancing the geographic reach and expertise available through each, but at the same time we have focused each product on answering the key challenges of specific audiences (Pharma clinical & R&D, Pharma commercial, Pharma regulatory and MedTech) thereby increasing the value of each title to that audience.

Q: Are you stopping print and PDF issues?

All publications are completely digital and available online. Each (except Rose Sheet) will have a companion print edition, available weekly for Pink, Scrip and Medtech and monthly for IN VIVO.

Q: Does the online service contain anything that is not in the monthly print issue?

Yes. The monthly and weekly print issues will contain only a subset of the content available online. Online content contains links to related content, interactive features and multimedia. It is fully searchable, and available when published.

Q: What are the benefits I can expect from the enhanced new publication?

Greater focus on answering the critical questions for core target audiences, greater access to a global content team of industry experts, greater visibility of unique Pharma intelligence data sets, all delivered through new technology platform.

Functionality

Q: I don’t currently receive the daily email alert. What do I do?

Go to My Account / Email Preferences and select the email alerts for the desired publication, or contact customer support.

Q: I receive email newsletters. Do I need to do anything to ensure I continue to receive notifications?

No, your email preferences will be applied to the new product site.

Q: I use RSS feeds. Do I need to change these?

RSS feeds will change. You will need to update the RSS feeds. Information on these changes will be available on the new product site.

Q: I have saved searches in my profile, do I need to recreate them or will they be transferred automatically?

Existing saved searches and email alerts will be migrated to the new product site and will be available via the My Accounts / Saved Searchs & Alerts section of the site.

Q: Will there be a smart phone app?

No. The product site is completely responsive and will provide full functionality on a smartphone and tablet.

Content

Q: What are the benefits I can expect from the enhanced new publication?

Greater focus on answering the critical questions for core target audiences, greater access to a global content team of industry experts, greater visibility of unique Pharma intelligence data sets, all delivered through new technology platform.

Q: Do I still have access to all the content I had before?

Yes, and in many cases, more content. No user will experience a reduction in content

Q: We have links to content on our company Intranet. Do we need to change these?

You will not have to change the links, though it is recommended. Links to the prior publication home pages/sites will redirect to the appropriate pages on the new product site. Links to specific articles will redirect to the article on the new site.

Q: I have custom email alerts. Do I need to update these?

Existing saved searches and email alerts will be migrated to the new product site and will be available via the My Accounts / Saved Searches & Alerts section of the site.

Q: I currently have subscriptions to two of the publications that have been merged into one with different expiration dates, what is the actual expiration date now that they are combined?

We will harmonize renewal dates at the next renewal. Where the renewal dates are different the end date for the 'senior' product will take precedence. If the end-dates are close (within 3-months) we will extend access to the minor product for free, where the separation of end-dates is greater we may ask for pro-rated bridging payment.

Support

Q: Who do I speak to about my subscription?
