PDT "plaster" and hypothermia mattress join NICE medtech evaluations programme

The UK’s National Institute for Health and Clinical Excellence (NICE) yesterday launched open consultations on Inditherm’s mattress to treat inadvertent hypothermia, and the Ambulight PDT (photodynamic therapy) “plaster” to treat non-melanoma skin cancer. The technologies are being assessed under NICE’s Evaluation Pathway Programme for Medical Technologies.
