A Republican plan offered on June 22 by House Speaker Paul Ryan to overturn the Affordable Care Act would repeal the 2.3% device excise tax, and kill the Independent Payment Advisory Board and the CMS Innovation Center. It also promotes device regulatory reforms passed in the 2015 "Cures" legislation.
